Garments made with Raw Denim are made from untreated and unwashed fabric. This means they will mold to your body over time, developing unique nuances and patterns. Proper care is essential to preserve their quality, color, and character.
Before the first wash, jeans should be worn for at least 6 months: this way, they will be characterized by your most common movements and at the same time they will take on your shape.
Before Wearing Them
- Raw denim may bleed dye (indigo), especially during the first few uses.
- Avoid contact with light-colored surfaces and clothing during the first few weeks.
- It is normal for the fabric to feel stiffer initially: it will soften with use.
Washing
- Wash your jeans as infrequently as possible: raw denim improves with natural wear.
- We recommend washing the product for the first time after at least 6 months of regular use (or when really necessary).
- Wash cold (max 30°C), inside out.
- Prefer hand wash or delicate cycle.
- Use neutral detergents, without bleach.
- Do not wash with other items, especially light-colored ones.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry: it may cause shrinkage and alter the fit.
- Air dry, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Hang by the waist or lay flat to maintain shape.
Narrowing
- Raw denim may shrink slightly on the first wash.
- Always follow the specific instructions on the model to assess any possible size loss.
Ironing
- Iron inside out, medium heat.
- Avoid excessive steam in the initial stages of use.
